I’ll explain how to run your patched codebreaker 9.2 elf  in PS2 HDLoader without laser disc but you need flashdisk detectable by your PS2 in exchange. Please prepare this for the process :

1. patched codebreaker to work with HDLoader(you can find it here).
2. ULaunch elf file (any kind of version, used to running the codebreaker.elf).
3. isobuster (to get SYSTEM.CNF file from any your PS2 game)

or you can write this on notepad and save as SYSTEM.CNF (case sensitive)

BOOT2 = cdrom0:\LAUNCH.ELF;1

VER = 1.0

VMODE = PAL

4. you CD/DVD-ROM Generator
5. IML2DVD (convert CD/DVD-ROM Generator save to IMG disc)
6. WINHIIP for insert the image disc to harddisk with HDLoader system file in it.
7. detectable flashdisk (I use normal computer flashdisk pqi 1 gb. Don’t use flashdisk over than 1 gb it wont be detectable)
8. PS2 memory card

Step putting ULaunch to MC for:

1. open your CD/DVD-ROM Generator

create new project and choose CD-ROM Master Disc, put this files in order

Ø SYSTEM.CNF

Ø LAUNCH.ELF

Ø DUMMY.BIN

Make sure the total size not lower than 50 mb. This needed so your HDLoader can read the image. Make any necessary dummy file to reach the total image disc size. Use any kinda of disc name example ‘SLUS-00000’ you can use this too. Export to IML.

2. use IML2DVD to convert the IML file
3. use WINHIIP to insert the image to your PS2 harddisk. Choose cd and set to 1 and 3 setting.
4. put back your ps2 HD and run the image file

choose config and pick any to set up it doesn’t matter

5. now prepare your detectable flashdisk with copy of ULaunch.elf copy changed too BOOT.ELF (case sensitive).
6. open your MC0 or MC1 from ULaunch screen depend on where you put your PS2 memory card

make folder named ‘BOOT’ (case sensitive).

7. then back up 1 folder and choose ‘mass’(hope your flashdisk can be read if not show anyhting don’t give up yet return back up 1 folder unplug you flashdisk and plug it again, try open ‘mass’ again).
8. copy the BOOT.ELF to BOOT folder at your MC
9. restart your PS2

Step for running your codebreaker :

1. press R1 in your PS2 joystick when the MATRIX screen show up

if you doing right at ULaunch step then it will show the ULaunch screen.

2. you can set up the button for shortcut.

3. from here you can run codebreaker.elf directly from you ‘mass’(flashdisk) or you can put the file on your PS2 HD and run it from there.
