Fishbowl, Microsoft made this application as well as following the introduction of  new Silverlight 4, which can now be downloaded. Fishbowl has interface like Facebook, including badges, mini-news feed, and so on, it's just a special present in the Fishbowl desktop. At first appearance, Fishbowl looks like  redesigned Facebook, but it is lighter than Facebook. At the top, looks like a regular section on Facebook, there are Home, Profile, Photos, and so on, and on the left side there is a choice that the user wants to enter. By navigating the section, it will be like on the  Facebook website.

However, as a desktop client, Fishbowl has added a slightly different features than Facebook. In the photo section will lead to a similar interface iPhoto or Picasa, users can scroll the album and view pictures as usual, zooming, slideshow, or print directly from the Fishbowl. Users can also upload images using photo uploader Fishbowl. As for modification also dealt nicely, from the taskbar icon that support for the badges, when someone writes something on the user wall , send messages or comments on photos. To see the notification, the user can get into the program and click the notification icon or right click on the taskbar icon and see Fishbowl jumplist. In addition, Aero Peek still has a small keypad for easy navigation to the Home, Friends, Profile, or photos in the Fishbowl Facebook.
